Eagle Volunteer Organization

The EVO will offer a variety of programs and events to connect POPCS families and serve the school.

• Social events will strengthen parent and family connections.
• Volunteer opportunities will support the school’s mission and increase parent engagement.
• Curated groups and informational events will deepen our faith community and enrich the parenting journey.

The EVO is like other parent/teacher organizations in that it exists to connect parents and families and to organize volunteer opportunities on campus.  Unlike other parent/teacher organizations, there is no fundraising, and membership is free.

Membership is open to all parents, grandparents, and guardians of currently enrolled students.

• Whether you are new to POPCS or a veteran, the EVO offers many opportunities to connect with other parents and families within your child's grade level and beyond, through service and social events.
• Members will have the opportunity to easily identify new opportunities around the school to connect and serve rather than focusing only on one area. 
• Studies show that when parents volunteer at their child’s schools, their child performs much better academically, has better attendance and is more likely to graduate and continue their education. 

EVO members can choose their level of involvement.  Opportunities for service, committees, and social events will be offered throughout the year.  Whether a one-time activity or a recurrent role, there are options to fit all schedules.
