The Used Uniform Sale will be in The Landing located on the east end of campus near the gate, across from the playground.  (In the same building as the Grandpa Bob Robotics Center.)

All new parents are encouraged to attend. 

For all families with students entering grades 6–12.

This important meeting will provide a comprehensive overview of the POPCS athletic program, including required TAPPS eligibility forms through the TAPPS Management System (TMS), Rank One physical forms, and essential information on player and parent expectations. We will also cover athletic requirements and review POPCS athletic guidelines to ensure families are fully informed and prepared for the upcoming sports seasons.

Our goal is to give every POPCS student-athlete the best possible experience—one that develops their character, showcases their athletic abilities, and fosters a commitment to growth both on and off the field. To help our youngest students feel comfortable and welcomed, K-Prep through Grade 2 Meet the Teacher meetings will be scheduled in small groups of four to five students. Students will be assigned a 30-minute visit time.

During each small group visit, students will spend time in the classroom meeting their teacher and becoming familiar with the classroom, while parents wait nearby in the Dining Hall. Parents will be asked to complete a “Get to Know My Child” form, which will be shared with the teacher to help provide a smooth and personalized start to the school year.

Students and parents are invited to drop by their homeroom classroom at any time during the Open House window. Teachers will be available to greet students, welcome families, and help students become familiar with their classroom.

Parents will also have the opportunity to complete a “Get to Know My Child” form and provide it to the homeroom teacher to help support a smooth and personalized start to the school year.

Preschool Parent Information Meeting will begin with all parents gathering together at 4:00 p.m. in the Dining Hall for a large-group session led by school administrators. This time will include important information and updates to help families prepare for the new school year.

Following the large-group session, parents will move into classrooms to hear from teachers about classroom expectations, curriculum highlights, routines, and other helpful information specific to their child’s class level.

K-Prep - Grade 2 Parent Information Meetings will begin at 4:00 p.m. with all parents gathering together in the Fine Arts Center auditorium for a large-group session led by school administrators. This time will include important information and updates to help families prepare for the new school year.

Following the large-group session, parents will move into grade-level groups to hear from teachers about classroom expectations, curriculum highlights, routines, and other helpful information specific to their child’s grade.

Get ready for a new school year!

This student-only event is designed for all incoming 6th grade students, incoming 9th grade students, and new Middle and Upper School students. Whether you are moving into a new division or beginning your first year at POPCS, we want to help you feel confident, connected, and prepared for the first day of school.

During the event, students will learn about POPCS traditions, review the bell schedule and first-week schedule, go over important dress code details, talk through summer reading expectations, and have time to ask questions. Students will also have the opportunity to walk their class schedule, meet teachers, and make sure their technology is ready for the first day.

Upper School students should bring the device they plan to use for school, either an iPad or laptop, so we can help connect it to Wi-Fi, log in to important programs, and check school email.

Middle School students will pick up their school-issued iPads at this event.

While students attend Embark, parents are invited to attend Launch, a parent meeting designed to help parents connect with other parents and prepare for the transition into Middle School, Upper School, or a new school experience at POPCS.

During Launch, parents will receive helpful information about the year ahead, including schedules, communication tools, division-specific expectations, and ways to partner with the school throughout the year. This is also a great opportunity to ask questions, meet Mrs. Ashcraft, the Middle and Upper School Principal, and feel more confident as your student begins this next step.

Whether your family is new to POPCS or simply moving into a new division, Launch is designed to help you feel informed, connected, and ready for a strong start.

Begin in the Chris Hahn Gym Lobby.  Meeting in the Dining Hall.  Please park near the gym entrance.

All returning 7th and 8th grade students should plan to attend this important back-to-school meeting with at least one parent on August 10. Students will walk their schedules, pick up their school-issued iPads, and hear from Middle School administration about iPad expectations for the year.

The meeting will be held in the FAC. Please park in front of the FAC and enter through the main doors.

Covering POPCS in Prayer – Join Us for a Prayer Walk

Hosted by POPLC and Moms in Prayer

As we prepare for a new school year, there is no better way to begin than by seeking the Lord together in prayer. We invite you to join us for a School Prayer Walk—a time to walk the campus in small groups and intentionally pray over every classroom, hallway, and space where lives will be shaped. To help guide our time, we’ve created a Prayer Walk booklet with Scripture and prayer to use as we move through the school.

This is a special opportunity to lift up our students, faculty, and families - asking God to fill the campus with His presence, protection, wisdom, and peace. We will gather at the main school entrance on Tuesday, August 11 at 9:00 AM and divide into small groups to walk the campus. Everyone is welcome – parents, grandparents, and students! Together, let’s lay a spiritual foundation that will bless our entire school community in the year ahead.
