Band education and exploration begins in Grade 5 at Prince of Peace Christian. Students have the opportunity to experience band and find our about music and instruments. This allows students to determine their interest level in band while instilling an appreciation and understanding of the program.
Band participation is available as an elective during the Middle and High School years. The Prince of Peace Christian School Band entertains in the fall during football games, with band concerts in the fall and winter seasons. One of the band highlights of the year is the Annual POPNOP (Prince of Peace Night of Percussion) which showcases our percussion students Each summer a very intensive band camp is held at POPCS.
