FINE ARTS & PERFORMANCE - LOWER SCHOOL
Lower School students participate in the fine arts throughout the year. In addition to various classes taking an active role in weekly chapel, students have the opportunity to be a part of Christmas, fall and spring productions. Children also perform in the Harvest Hoe Down and Grandparents'/Special Friends' Day celebrations.
ART CLASSES (Grades K-5)
The Lower School Art program offers comprehensive hands-on art classes, providing a rich and engaging curriculum that develops students' abilities to think, reason and understand the world and its cultures. It offers students opportunities to respond to art and create art. The creative skills children develop through art carry them toward new ideas, new experiences and new challenges, as well as offering personal satisfaction and development. The POPCS Lower School Art Boards showcases student art throughout the year.
