Celebrating Change

As the POPCS experience evolves, so must its facilities and programs. By contributing to the Eagle Fund and capital improvements, POPCS supporters have helped update, renovate, and transform existing facilities in ways that enhance the POPCS experience.  Past Eagle Fund and capital campaign donations are responsible for many projects on our campus.

Eagle Success Center

The Eagle Success Center houses the Academic Support Program and the Gifted and Talented program.  The 3,500 square foot facility includes a redesigned Media Lab and additional classroom spaces for ESC programs and services.  State-of-the-art furniture and equipment create areas for students to collaborate with others or receive one-on-one instruction.

Interstate Batteries SmartLab®

The Interstate Batteries SmartLab® opened in the fall of 2019.  The 2,400 square foot SmartLab® includes 18 stations and provides a wide selection of hands-on activities with more than 400 STEM learning experiences in over 60 content areas for Lower School students.

Eagle Stadium Turf Replacement

Eagle Stadium was originally built and opened in 2010, and includes an 8-lane track and turf field.  The original turf was replaced in the summer of 2022.  The new surface will provide a safe foundation for the many athletic events held in Eagle Stadium.

Upper School Renovation

Eagle Fund donations provided funding for a major renovation of the Upper School.  The project created a redesigned entrance and reception area, as well as a new office suite for upper school administrative offices.

Chris Hahn Gymnasium

Since its creation, the Chris Hahn Gymnasium has served as the home for several generations of athletic teams,  PE classes, and other social gatherings such as Harvest Hoe Down, Pink Out, and pep rallies. In the summer of 2022, the gym was completely renovated.  Changes include new visitor bleachers,  new flooring, the Alumni Court, and updated sports nets with the latest technology.

Middle & Upper School SmartLab®

The Upper School Commons  was redesigned to allow for the addition of a second SmartLab® in the summer of 2022.  The 1,400 square foot lab serves Middle and Upper School students.  The project included a reimagined Upper School Commons and courtyard space.

DigiMedia Lab

The Digimedia Lab, opened in the fall of 2019, provides middle and upper school students with the opportunity to explore video production from the initial planning and creation to filming and editing of videos. Students learn skills that will prepare them for future projects.

Playground Expansion

One of the Eagle Fund's first projects was the expansion of the playground.  The project included the addition of several new play structures, awnings for shade, and turf for games and activities.

In addition to these projects, donations to the Eagle Fund have provided:

  • The Nichols Pavilion, created in memory of Bob Nichols
  • Updated equipment for the Fine Arts Center
  • New scoreboards for Eagle Stadium and Chris Hahn Gymnasium
  • Apple laptops and iPads for faculty to upgrade outdated equipment
  • Expansion of the ELC/preschool outdoor garden
  • New lockers and furniture for the middle school
  • Updated bathrooms in all school divisions
  • Flexible seating furniture for lower and middle school
  • New flooring throughout the school
  • New roofing across all campus buildings
  • Replacement fencing to create a uniform look on campus

Give today to ensure future improvements!
