At Prince of Peace Christian School, we believe in sharing God's love in a challenging world and, as such, we do not require a statement of faith to be part of the POPCS community.  All students participate in weekly chapel services and study the Bible and Christian faith through daily faith and theology lessons.

POPCS is accredited by Cognia, an international accrediting agency.  We are also accredited by the Lutheran School Accreditation Commission (LSAC).  LSAC is certified by the Texas Private School Accreditation Commission and recognized by the Commissioner of Education of the Texas Education Agency (TEA) in accordance with Texas Administrative Code Title 19, Part II, Chapter 97, Subchapter A, #97.7 Non-Public Schools.

The student must be the following age in relation to class placement on or before September 1st of the school year.

*Students entering Grade 1 and above must provide a transcript of previous passing status and meet all testing requirements.

Students applying for Preschool 3 and above must be independently toilet trained.

All new applicants must submit immunization records for the school nurse to approve prior to the first day of attendance. Download the immunization policy.

Upper School Grades 9 - 12:  8:00 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. (Mon/Tues/Th/Fri) 8:30 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. Wednesdays
Middle School Grades 6 - 8:  8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Mon/Tues/Th/Fri) 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesdays
Lower School Grades 1 - 5:  8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (Mon/Tues/Th/Fri) 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Wednesdays
Preschool & Kindergarten: 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Mon/Tues/Th/Fri) 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesdays
Early Learning Center (Infants, Toddlers, Preschool Prep 2's):  7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

POPCS offers after school care to school families through The Zone, our extended care program for preschool and lower school students.

The Zone is open after school until 6:00 p.m. on school days. 

Holiday care is provided on school holidays through Holiday In The Zone from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Summer care is provided through Summer In The Zone from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

After School Study Hall is available for Middle School students until 6:00 p.m. on school days.

Uniforms are required for students in Preschool Prep 2's and above.  Read more about uniform guidelines.

No, POPCS does not provide transportation.

Tuition includes a daily lunch program provided by Flik Independent School Dining for students in the Early Learning Center (Toddler and Preschool Prep 2's only) through Grade 12.  Daily snacks are provided for ELC and Preschool students.

POPCS works on a rolling admissions policy.  We will accept applications throughout the year if openings are available.  If you are interested in applying after the first day of school, please contact the Office of Admissions to confirm availability.

POPCS is proud to offer academic support services for students with mild to moderate learning differences through the Eagle Success Center.  The Eagle Success Center is available to students in Kindergarten - Grade 12.
