Academic Support Program
The Academic Support Program is designed to support students with average to above average intelligence who have diagnosed learning differences such as dyslexia, expressive and receptive language disorders, dysgraphia, dyscalculia and ADHD. The program will provide continuous and seamless support for students from Grades 1-12. A fee is associated with participation in the program.
Lower School
- Reading screening to identify learning gaps for early intervention
- Individual accommodation plan
- Specialized small group instruction and intervention in grades 1-5
- Standardized testing accommodations
- Dyslexia Therapy utilizing the Take Flight Program
Middle School
- Individual accommodation plan
- Standardized testing accommodations
- Dedicated class period
- Executive function and study skill support
- Assessment of student learning style
- Liaison between student and teacher on missing assignments and accommodations
Upper School
