Gifted and Advanced Academic Program

The GAAP Program offers enrichment and accelerated opportunities that encourage discovery and exploration to groups of identified students in Grades 2-5. Students will be challenged to explore personal curiosity and passion at an advanced academic level.  A fee is associated with participation in the program.   

Grades 2 and 3 (GAAP Enrichment)

• Creative instruction offered with greater depth and complexity
• Offered as a pull out class 3 hours per week 
• Students must qualify for participation

Grades 2 - 5 (GAAP Math)

• Accelerated instruction offered as a pull out class 5 days a week  
• Purposeful preparation for Middle School Honors and Upper School Honors and AP Capstone programs
• Program requires all students to participate in the PSIA academic competition
• Students must qualify for participation

Grades 4 - 5 (GAAP English/Language Arts)

• Accelerated instruction offered as a pull out class 5 days a week  
• Purposeful preparation for Middle School Honors and Upper School Honors and AP Capstone programs
• Program requires all students to participate in the PSIA academic competition
• Students must qualify for participation
