Lady Eagles Volleyball claimed their 16th District Title in 19 seasons and are headed into the playoffs!

The Lady Eagles Varsity Volleyball team, continuing their legacy of excellence, secured the 2025 TAPPS 4A District 2 Championship on Tuesday with a decisive 3–1 victory over Colleyville Covenant Christian Academy. This achievement marks the program’s 16th district title in the last 19 seasons.
The Lady Eagles have displayed impressive consistency and competitive strength throughout the year, posting a 24–11 overall record and a 7–1 finish in district play heading into postseason action.
In addition to the team’s success, several standout athletes reached remarkable career milestones this season:
- Izzy Duceska – 1,500 career assists
- McKenna Morton – 1,000 career kills
- Maebry Harris – 1,000 career digs
Playoff Path Ahead
With momentum on their side, the Lady Eagles will enjoy a bye in the Bi-District round on November 1 and will host the Area playoff match on November 4. Their postseason road continues as follows:
Regional Playoff – November 8 (neutral site)
State Semifinal – November 14 (Waco)
State Championship – November 15 (Waco)
Fans are encouraged to pack the stands and cheer the Eagles on as they pursue another state title!
