2025 Valedictorian & Salutatorian Announced

Congratulations to the POPCS 2025 Valedictorian & Salutatorian!

Congratulations to Catherine Seay, Class of 2025 Salutatorian! Catherine is considered a “lifer”, beginning at Prince of Peace in 2011 in preschool. In her time in the Upper School, she achieved a core cumulative GPA of 4.8485.

Catherine took 14 AP courses, including 6 during her senior year alone.  Having completed both AP Seminar and AP Research, in addition to passing four other AP exams, this year’s valedictorian accomplished the prestigious honor of the AP Capstone diploma by the end of her junior year.

Catherine is also considered an AP Scholar with Distinction meaning she received an average score of 3.5 or higher on ALL AP exams taken, and scored a 3 or higher on five or more exams.

While in the Upper School Catherine played varsity softball, served as an Academy Four mentor, participated in the band program, and served as the president of both the National Honor Society and the Key Club charters at Prince of Peace.

She plans to attend The University of Illinois Urbana Champlain to study Chemical Engineering.

Congratulations to Emma Ross, Class of 2025 Salutatorian!  Emma enrolled at POPCS in the ninth grade. In her time in the Upper School, she achieved a core cumulative GPA of 4.8125. She took 13 AP courses, including 5 during her senior year alone.

Having completed both AP Seminar and AP Research, in addition to passing four other AP exams, she accomplished the prestigious honor of the AP Capstone diploma by the end of her junior year.

Emma is also considered an AP Scholar with Distinction meaning she received an average score of 3.5 or higher on ALL AP exams taken, and scored a 3 or higher on five or more exams.

In her time at Prince of Peace, Emma was an integral part of the volleyball program. She was recognized as the TAPPS defender of the year in our district for two years in a row. She is a member of the National Honor Society, and served as an Academy Four mentor.

Emma plans to attend Baylor University in the fall studying Education.
