About

Prince of Peace Christian School & Early Learning Center serves engaged families, with children from ages 6 weeks through Grade 12, who want an excellent educational experience in a diverse and caring environment. Our award-winning private school cultivates Christ-like character as we deliver academic excellence and inspire individual passions in students. At Prince of Peace, each child has the opportunity to courageously explore, develop, and apply the gifts God has given them.

Prince of Peace Christian School was established in 1980.  The school started as a preschool in Carrollton as a community outreach of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.  The church and school moved to the current location in 1996.  Since 1980, the school has grown and added a Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School.  The Upper School was launched in 2001, and the school presented diplomas to its first graduates in the spring of 2005.  The Early Learning Center opened in 2009.  Since then, POPCS has served students from 6 weeks through Grade 12 on one campus.

Today our enrollment is over 600 students. The campus covers 27-acres and includes the Early Learning Center, Preschool, Lower School, Middle School, Upper School, 2 SmartLabs, Fine Arts Center, Eagle Stadium Complex, 12 acres of sports fields, a Dining Hall, and the Grandpa Bob Pfeil Robotics Workshop, to name a few highlights.

The school has an outstanding faculty and staff that are dedicated to delivering a well-rounded academic program with a strong curriculum focus in literacy, math, science, and technology. Whether you're looking to enroll your child in our Early Learning Center, Preschool, Lower School, Middle School, or Upper School, we have programs to fit your child's specific educational needs.
