Parent Participation
Volunteering at POPCS is a wonderful way to be involved in your child’s education. Most parental participation is coordinated through the Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) organization. The High School division of the PTF organization is the POSSE (Parents Of Senior high Students and Educators).
To get involved, complete and return the Volunteer Finder form to the Parent Room. For more information about volunteering, please contact Shannon at sharpfamily6@verizon.net.
Martial Arts Program Is Now Enrolling for 2009-2010!

Over the past years, the emphasis of Martial Arts in the media has shifted from a positive, character building talent to a negative, violent action. POPCS’ Martial Arts program reinforces the Christian values and character development of the school. The program is designed to enhance students’ self-confidence, self-control and focus. Students will be taught Renbudo karate which is affiliated with the American Karate and Taekwondo Association (Akato) recognized nationally as the oldest and most famous lineage of organized Martial Arts in Texas history.
Now enrolling for the fall semester! Beginner and advance classes are available.
If you have any questions or would like to enroll in the spring semester, please contact Ron Owens, American Karate & T.K.D. Association Instructor, at 214-890-2537.
