Cadet Joshua Dean Koeppe, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Koeppe of Plano, Texas, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on Saturday, May 25 .
Koeppe graduated from Prince Of Peace Christian School in 2009.

Recently Prince of Peace Christian School & Early Learning Center’s (POPCS) Headmaster, Chris Hahn, received the 2015 Distinguished Administrator Award from the Texas Private School Music Educators Association (TPSMEA) for private schools for the state of Texas.

Prince of Peace Christian School & Early Learning Center Honored as NLSA ‘Exemplary School’ for the 2013-2014 School Year
 

Nine schools selected out of 694 schools across the United States for the special accreditation and prestigious award

The National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA) commission recently selected nine Lutheran schools in the United States, including Prince of Peace Christian School & Early Learning Center in Carrollton, for  special recognition as “exemplary accredited schools for the 2013­2014 school year.”   Out of 2,300 Lutheran schools in the United States, 694 are accredited by NLSA, and  only nine of the 694 were given an exemplary designation.  All nine received NLSA  accreditation last August which was preliminary to their being named exemplary schools  for recognition during the 2013­14 academic year.

Support will help local Carrollton, Plano and Frisco students prepare for FIRST Regional Competition

Carrollton, Texas—January 9, 2012― FIRST® team # 3802 at Prince of Peace Christian School & Early Learning Center is one of 900 high school teams being sponsored this year by jcpenney. FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a not-for-profit organization founded by Dean Kamen to inspire young people’s interest and participation in science and technology by engaging students in innovative robotics competitions. Team RoboPOP is a veteran team that will spend six intense weeks designing and building an original robot for the FIRST Regional Competition scheduled for West Regional in Dallas on March 27-29, 2012.

Teen’s One Direction Wish Comes True

Jenna Martin gets her wish to meet One Direction granted after Make A Wish North Texas revealed the surprise at the Prince of Peace Christian School eighth-grade graduation on Thursday. Diagnosed with a brain tumor in August, Jenna underwent a craniotomy and is now in remission.

Prince of Peace Senior Achieves Perfect ACT Score


Ricky Hofstra Aces the ACT Test

Hofstra, a senior at Prince of Peace Christian School and Early Learning Center in Carrollton, is one of eight students in the state of Texas and one of 91 students in the nation to score a perfect composite score of 36 on his ACT. According to statistics published by the ACT Board, less than one-tenth of 1 percent of students who took the exam in 2009 scored a 36.

Dorothy Noack Congratulated by Mark Cuban on Center Court

Noack was one of 10 teachers in the Dallas-Fort Worth region to be named an Outstanding Teacher by the Dallas Mavericks and the UPS Store Teacher Recognition Program. The teachers were publicly recognized during the game’s second quarter.
