Both Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls Soccer are played at POPCS.  Soccer is governed by the rules of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS).

Boys soccer began as a fall sport and started a winning tradition with the State Championship in its first year.  Three more Fall State Championships followed and a Winter Division III State Championship has been added as well.  Four POPCS players have gone on to play at the collegiate level.

The girls soccer program, always a winter sport, has also been very successful.  The girls advanced to the State Final Four in their second year and were State Runners Up in the third year of the program.  Of the four ladies who have continued to play soccer in college, two played on the girls' team and two on the fall "boys" team for POPCS.
